During Year 3’s literacy lessons we have been exploring the writing of Dick King-Smith. Our class reading book ‘The Hodgeheg’ brought an unexpected visitor to meet us in the shape of George an African pygmy hedgehog!
What a wonderful experience we had as George scuttled around the carpet. George has an extremely good sense of smell but very poor eyesight. Here are some of descriptive words we used to describe George: spiky, cute, adorable and gentle!
A big thank you to Miss Todd in F1 for bringing him in.
