Years 3 and 4 trip to Roald Dahl Museum

Years 3 and 4 had a great time at the Roald Dahl Museum on 6th October, despite the very wet weather!  We explored the area of Great Missenden and found the grave of Roald Dahl. Clearly we weren’t the only people to have visited recently as we spotted some rather large footprints, perhaps belonging to one of his well known characters.

After lunch we experienced all that the Roald Dahl museum had to offer; we learned about where he got inspiration for his characters, his unique process for writing and some of the unusual items he kept in his writing hut including his own hip bone!
