On Wednesday, 19th November, Year 3 visited the Neasden Temple, the largest Hindu Mandir in the country.
When we arrived, we were amazed at how beautiful it was. The mandir took three years to build and is made of Italian marble and Bulgarian stone. We took off our shoes when we went inside and were able to see some of the sacred images in shrines used during the ‘Arti’ ceremony.
If you look closely at the pictures, you can see some of the gods and goddess on the outside of the temple.
