On Wednesday 16th November, sixth formers from Forest School came to Avon House to deliver a workshop on democracy to pupils from Years 5 and 6. The children learned about the history of democracy and how it is implemented across the world and why.
The children were asked to vote on whether they thought video games should be allowed in class. Everyone had the opportunity to complete a voting slip and post it in a ballot box. The votes were counted and the results were close; pupils thought video games should be allowed in class!
