We encourage prospective parents to visit the school, meet the staff and see the school in action. This could be either at one of our regular Open Day events or by arranging a tour during the school day.
Once you have selected Avon House School, we will ask you to complete the registration paperwork. If you have any queries at any time during the entry process, do not hesitate to contact Mrs Porter, Admissions Registrar on 020 8504 1749 (option 3).
Our termly fees from September 2016 are:
Early Years: Foundation 1, Foundation 2: £2,995
KS1: Years 1 – 2: £3,195
KS2: Years 3-6: £3,265
Fees include lunches, books and stationery. Fees do not include extended hours care, curriculum day trips, residential trips or school uniform.
We offer a sibling discount whereby fees for second and subsequent children are discounted (this discount only applies while more than one child is a pupil at Avon House School).
Avon House is part of the Redbridge Early Years Funding which gives a nursery education grant to the parents of three and four year olds, until Easter 2017 at which point we are withdrawing from the scheme. We also accept childcare vouchers, issued by employers as a way of improving tax efficiency, to offset fees in Foundation 1 as well as for all pupils using Breakfast Club, Early Risers, Tea Timers and holiday club childcare.
School fees are paid by direct debit, split evenly over ten months of the year. The first instalment is due on 1st July each year and the tenth and final instalment on 1st April.
Fees cannot be remitted on account of ill health or enforced absence from any other cause. A condition of entry is that parents undertake to give one full terms’ notice in writing when withdrawing their pupil from the school or pay one full term’s fees in lieu of notice. The school reserves the right to exclude a child from school if the fees have not been paid within the required time.
