We are pleased to announce that Avon House School have successfully achieved the Unicef UK Bronze – Right Committed Award for our rights-respecting work.
The ‘Rights Respecting School’ award (RRSA) will help our pupils to grow into confident, caring and responsible young citizens both in school and within the wider community. By learning about their rights, our children will also learn about the importance of respecting and standing up for the rights of others.
Throughout this academic year we will continue to embed children’s rights into our school ethos and culture. The RRS council are meeting regularly to discuss how we can achieve this. We look forward to working together as a whole school in partnership with parents and our governors to achieve our silver and gold awards!Categories: News
