Yr2 visit St Pauls Cathedral

Posted: 2nd October 2018

On Monday 1st October Year 2 went on a school trip to St Paul’s Cathedral. They were amazed to see the cathedral from the outside and couldn’t believe the size of the church. Inside the cathedral, the children had a guided tour based upon the Great fire of London and did some role play. They look at some of the mosaics in the dome and looked at their meanings. After,  the children climbed 259 steps to get to the whispering gallery, they saw the cathedral from a birds eye view. All the children thoroughly enjoyed their day!
