On Monday 3rd December, the Pre-Prep department had their annual Christingle service at All Saints’ Church. It was a wonderful morning led by a minister from the church where the children were joined by their parents to listen to the Christmas story and sing some Christmas hymns. Some children from Year Two led the Christingle prayers and the Pre-Prep choir also performed ‘Silent Night.’ The minister explained the meaning behind Christingle whilst the children each constructed their own Christingle, before they were lit and everyone joined in to sing a final song to complete the celebration.
