F2 visit Suntrap

Posted: 27th February 2019

This week Foundation Two were lucky enough to visit the conservation centre at Suntrap. The weather was glorious and the children

thoroughly enjoyed exploring the forest, walking through streams and even making a wish through the wishing tree. Back at the centre,  the children had the chance to get up and close with some of the animals. We met 2 hissing cockroaches, 2 stick insects and Cornflake the corn snake. The children (and adults) were very brave!

To finish our trip we collected lots of leaves and twigs to give us further inspiration during William Morris Week.
