Cross Country

Thankfully the weather was kinder last Friday and the Prep School Inter-House Cross- Country competition saw some excellent individual performances with the three returning champions Steven, Sahib and Eva, all retaining titles now that they had gone up a Year group. The tussle between our own “Brownlee twins” Eva and Oskar was the closest finish of the day and particularly exciting.

It helped Cavell win the Year 4 component, Pankhurst won the Year 6 element, Churchill the Year 3 race with Rire winning the individual race and the Year 5 race was also won by Churchill .

This is a true team event as all the scores of the children count and are compiled with their finishing place equating to points and the lowest cumulative score winning . Overall Churchill came first by just ten points from Pankhurst.

1st Churchill 377 points

2nd Pankhurst 387 points

3rd Morris 425 points

4th Cavell 453 points
