On Wednesday 2nd February we hosted the ISA London North U11 and U13 Netball Tournament which took place at Redbridge Sports Centre. Although the weather wasn’t overly warm, our team were on fire placing third and getting through to the Nationals which will take place in March. This tournament was the first where the new ‘stinger’ netball rules were being played. We went 5 games unbeaten only conceding 1 goal before going out at the Semi Finals to the eventual winners St Hilda’s. A very well done goes to them who came into the competition as underdogs and beat the established St James’ in the final. It was a well-deserved win. We cannot wait to see what the Finals bring and wish all the team the very best of luck. Go Avon House!!!
