Year 4 Celtic Harmony Trip

Celtic Harmony Trip

Last Friday, 18th March 2022, Year 4 travelled back in time to the Stone Age period. They had great fun learning through the hands on Celtic Harmony workshops taking part in bread making, grinding flour and carried out soap knapping to make arrow heads, ready for hunting.  They did some pottery making, like the beaker people, and learnt to build fences and a structure using a technique called wattling and daub. Amongst their busy day, they stopped to have lunch. Thank goodness, they didn’t have to go hunting with their arrow heads to collect food!! This was well needed as they were very hungry!  The children also enjoyed trading, using their money at the gift shop.
