As a Gold Unicef Rights Respecting School, Avon House used their voice today to vote for their candidate choice in the school’s pupil councils. This year we will have 5 councils, School Council, RRS Council, Sustainability Council, Sports Council and our new council, Diversity Council. The children use the same voting booths their parents would use in an election and Year 6 counted the ballots. Congratulations to those nominated for a post on a Council. We are looking forward to watching how pupil voice influences vision and events this year at school.
