Our tag rugby team faced Woodford Green Prep at the Woodford Wells on Tuesday. Avon House scored the game’s first try in what was a dominating start by the home side. However, WGPS fought back to lead two tries to one as the game entered the final five minutes. A resilient attitude saw AHS score late-on to secure a draw. William (5PH), who played at dummy-half, was a stand-out performer, demonstrating expert passing skills to teammates. The fixture was in preparation for next week’s tag rugby tournament.
