At the start of this academic year, the children in Year 5 and Year 6 took part in the Inter-House Science quiz. The top eight scorers were then sorted into two teams for the Inter-House Science Quiz. Today, the teams took on other children from Prep schools in the area heat of the competition. After some very challenging questions on greenhouse gases and planetary systems, as well as a few technical difficulties, the teams managed to pick up many points and worked well in their groups. A big thank you to all children involved for giving up their free time to take part in practice quizzes. Mrs Hooley has definitely been entertained by Molly who has been singing the periodic table song in class all week!
