The Big Plastic Count

Posted: 21st February 2024

The first meeting back after half-term saw Arun bring another load of batteries in for recycling. The Sustainability Council now affectionately refer to him as the “Battery Boy” as he has singlehandedly brought in over 600 batteries on his own. Quite an amazing effort! Aiden has also put together a collage showing how much his family recycle the different types of packaging and containers at home. Well done to all of Aiden’s family for this! Coincidentally the Council members have been tasked this week with recording all the plastic that their household throws away or recycles as part of the “Big Plastic Count” coming up soon. More information on this initiative nearer the time!
