Today, a small group of Year 4 and 5 children went to visit Belmont Lodge Care Centre to sing the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang songs from their Prep Production. The residents were very impressed by the singing, tap dancing and jolly nature of the children and many applauses were given throughout the morning. We met a resident who was 101, but not too old to clap along to me ol’ bamboo! The children were brilliant and showed care when talking with the different residents shaking hands and introducing themselves. A truly heart-warming morning.
