We joined eccentric inventor, Caractacus Potts, his two children, Jeremy and Jemima and their friend Truly Scrumptious on an adventure like no other in Avon House’s 2024 production of ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ this week. With two performances on Wednesday and Thursday night at All Saints, the Prep Department did us proud learning lines, songs, dance routines and putting maximum effort into each performance. Well done prep pupils! A special nod to Miss Dade for sorting much of the admin before and during rehearsals, to Mrs Mistry for creating the amazing props we saw in the show and to Mr Reed for orchestrating the whole performance! This ambitious project has been overseen with his passionate leadership and dedication as our musical director, creating lasting memories and a strong sense of camaraderie among us as we rehearse. Thank you Mr Reed, for your patience, encouragement, and for always being there to assist with extra singing practice and line running at breaktimes and lunchtimes.
