Krishni (Head of Pankhurst House) and Ms Heath (Pankhurst House Leader) would like to send a very big thank you to all the parents and staff for their amazing book donations and support for the Pankhurst House Book Sale. Once again, everyone was so generous with the quality of the books donated. These contributions played an essential role in making the event a success and many children left with new reading material, both at Avon House and in the local community as they dropped by.
The book sale raised £270 for Cancer Research UK. The Pankhurst team once again thanks you for your support and looks forward to your continued involvement in our future House events in and out of school.
Krishni commented, “Thank you everyone for coming to the sale, I’m really pleased with the amount we raised and I’m glad lots of children got new books.”
Ms Heath added, “I really enjoyed talking to everyone about their favourite books, I spotted a few of my own much-loved childhood stories for sale and hope those who took them home enjoy them as much as I did. Thank you for your support with our House event!”
