After friendly class contests during golden time before half term, the Pre-Prep Connect 4 final was a hotly contested event at break time today. With representatives from Mallards, Kingfishers, Pelicans, Cranes, Flamingos and Herons being supported by their friends and the Year 6 heads of school, there was good sportsmanship all round as the games took place. It was clear the finalist had been practising over the half term as different strategies were deployed. Multiple matches were played until a single pair of winners were left for the grand final – Year 1 Cranes verses Year 2 Flamingos! At one point it looked like it was going to be a draw, until the Flamingos finalist just edged ahead to secure his win at almost the last piece. Congratulations to every finalist and to our overall Y2 Flamingos winner!
