Sustainability Council would like to send a big THANK YOU to everyone who supported their confectionery tub collection, on behalf of Greene King’s Tub2Pub campaign, over the first half of the Spring Term. Today, our Sustainability Council members delivered over 40 tubs for recycling to The Monkhams Pub in Buckhurst Hill.
The Tub2Pub initiative not only helps to reduce plastic waste, but also supports a great cause —all proceeds from the recycled tubs will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Sustainability Council would also like to wish good luck to three team members of The Monkhams Pub, who are doing a sponsored walk, from Southend to Buckhurst Hill, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support in a few weeks.
