Parents' Association

Working to support Avon House School

Avon House School Parents' Association has been established for a number of years thanks to the support of parents and friends of the school, past and present.

The Parents' Association takes an active role in the life of the school and offers opportunities for parents to become more involved.

We aim to provide additional resources for the school to enhance the children’s time here, and to hold events (Annual Summer & Christmas Fayre) to bring together the teachers, parents, families and friends of the school.

The Parents' Association meets on a regular basis during term time and welcomes new members.  We are always looking for volunteers to help at our events, even if you are unable to attend all the meetings, and are especially keen to hear from new parents at the school.   Any support parents can give is much appreciated and we encourage comments, feedback and ideas from everyone.

Thanks to the support of the parents we have been able to assist the school with the following:  Early Years play area (astro turf), floodlights in the playground, lockers, playground markings, netball markings.
