Sports Council

The Sports Council helps influence the content of PE and Games lessons, the sports in which we compete against other schools, the range of clubs and activities we run after school, the format of events like Sports Day and Swimming Galas, the equipment and kit we need and buy and running fund-raising ventures like Sports Relief. We meet every four weeks so speak to them and be involved too!

Rights Respecting School - Article 29 – “Your education should help you use and develop your talents and abilities”

Article 31 – “you have the right to play and rest”

Avon House follows this by offering children the chance to achieve success and strive towards attaining each and everyone’s goals in sport.

It was once quoted “Don’t aspire to be the best on the team. Aspire to be the best for the team” This sums up sport at Avon House School, we work for the team.
