We have been searching for the Ultimate Rock Hero as part of STEM Week using Times Table Rock Stars! On Monday, all children from Year 2 to Year 6 took part in a Times Tables battle against the other members of their class in the group stages of this fierce competition. After some very impressive (and lightning fast) number sentence solving, the top two children from each class were selected to progress onto Tuesday’s Quarter Finals. Tuesday’s competitors fought hard for a spot in the Top 10 (made up of the top 2 children from each year group). The final took place on Thursday with three finalists, Ava (6JM), Arya (6NH) and Molly (5PH). Arya, 6NH, came out victorious after correctly answering an impressive 65 correct multiplication and division questions in just 60-seconds! Impressively, she finished at the top of the leader board in every round of the competition. Congratulations, Arya!
