Welfare

Avon House is equipped with a fully resourced First Aid room, centrally located to provide immediate care for pupils who experience illness or injury during the school day. Our dedicated Welfare Officer is available at all times to oversee the health and well-being of students.

All staff members are trained in Paediatric First Aid and are responsible for managing any medical or first aid needs.

Children with long term conditions such as severe allergies, diabetes and asthma, will be supported with a Health Care Plan which is established between parents and guardians and the School.

The school places a strong emphasis on student well-being, with counselling services integrated into our safeguarding programme.
