On 25th November 2022, Mrs Wang, the mother of one of our Year 6 pupils, brought Mandarin (November’s ‘Language of the Month’) to life by delivering a series of interactive workshops to all classes in the Prep School. As well as learning about Chinese culture, the pupils embraced the opportunity to learn the names of colours and numbers, draw their characters and create their very own Chinese dragon! We are extremely grateful to Mrs Wang for her passion to pass on her culture to others in the Avon House family.
