As part of our STEM Week, Year 2 were tasked with the engineering challenge of creating the tallest tower using only paper cups. Some of the best teamwork and ‘aha’ moments came from when the stack of cups crashed to the table which forced the children to rethink their strategies. The activity really tapped into the children’s critical as well as creative thinking.
