Last Friday, choir members from Years 4, 5 and 6 visited Chigwell School to participate in a charity event run by the Roding Rotary Club. It was entitled “Youth Makes Music” with funds raised donated to The Memory Cafe for people with Dementia. The choir sang three songs from their repertoire: The Wellerman, ably assisted by Vishva on the drum, The cup song (When I’m Gone) and, as it was St Patrick’s Day, Molly Malone. A big congratulations to all those who sang especially our soloists: Vishva, Maliyah and Molly and a big thank you to the wonderful support by our parents. Thank you to Chigwell School for hosting the event, it was a great evening!
