Musical Notes

Posted: 14th September 2023

student playing music

The peripatetic music lessons started this week as did Miss Neal’s Ukulele Strummers’ Club and Miss Whitestone’s Violin Club. The Choir Club also met for the first time, so our year as got off to a very musical start. A big congratulations go to Molly in Year 6NH who passed her piano grade 4 over the summer holidays. All children who are currently taking music lessons are encouraged to work towards exams. It is lovely to start having lessons on any instrument but the message to all those lucky enough to have gained a place on the peripatetic music timetables is: there must be a commitment to practice very regularly each week in order to make progress.
