Sustainability Council spent Tuesday lunchtime visiting Packford Opticians on Woodford High Road. The council representatives took along 23 pairs of glasses to donate to the glasses recycling programme which the shop runs.
Mr Packford gave a talk about how the glasses are recycled and given to people in less fortunate circumstances.
Sustainability Council has pledged to collect even more pairs of glasses and visit the shop again with their donation.
If you have any old pairs of glasses at home, please bring them into school for Sustainability Council to pass on to Packford Opticians.
