EYFS Easter Bonnet Parade

Posted: 25th March 2024

With a fanfare of colour, chicks, bunnies, feathers, glitter, and other themed decorations to finish the Spring Term, the Avon House Early Years Easter Bonnet Parade took place today. Showcasing the creativity and imagination of our Nursery and Reception children (and their parents!), our youngest children were full of excitement and pride as they paraded around the playground in their unique bonnets to the admiration of their parents, teachers and the rest of the school. As the parade concluded and the winners of the most  creative designs announced, all the children were me with applause and hugs from their adults present.  Thank you to all our Early Years families for their support with this annual event. It was a joyous occasion for everybody to come together in a celebration of springtime spirit.

Ethan said, “I’m wearing my yellow bonnet. We followed each other and people watched. I waved at everyone!”

Kaida added, “My bonnet is purple and pink. There’s a tiger and Sophie on it, my Mummy and me made it together. I did a dance at the parade!”
