Tuition Fees for the Academic Year Sep 24 – Aug 25

Please note that, in accordance with government requirements, VAT will apply to all independent school fees starting from the Spring Term 2025.

Please note that the school is absorbing a significant portion of the VAT. The new fees, effective from Spring Term 2025, reflect a 14% increase compared to Autumn Term fees.
Included and Excluded Costs
Fees include lunches, books, and stationery but exclude:
- Extended hours care
- Curriculum day trips
- Residential trips
- School uniforms
Discounts and Childcare Vouchers
- A 7.5% sibling discount applies to fees for second and subsequent children, provided more than one child is enrolled at Avon House Preparatory School.
- A 3% Annual discount applies for fees paid in full, on or before the first day of term, Wednesday 3rd September 2025.
- Childcare vouchers can be used for Foundation 1 fees and for all pupils accessing Breakfast Club, after-school clubs, Tea Timers, or Holiday Club childcare.
Payment of Fees
- Fees are due by the first day of each term* and must be paid in full on a termly or annual basis.
- With effect from Autumn term 2025, We are now pleased to announce the introduction of School Fee Plan.
- School Fee Plan (SFP) has over 20 years’ experience in providing this service to parents and we are confident that you will receive an exceptional service from their dedicated team. SFP is being utilised by neighbouring and leading schools up and down the country and this service allows you to spread the cost of school fees over either 10 or 12 monthly repayments.10 Months

Enclosed is a flyer with information about the new facility (see attached). Please note, credit is subject to status, terms and conditions apply, over 18s only. If you wish to finance the cost of your school fees from Autumn Term 2025 onwards, please refer to the Fees section of our website and ensure you have registered with SFP by 01st July 2025.

- Optional extras must be paid by the last day of each term.

Non-payment of Fees
- Pupils will not be allowed to attend school until outstanding balances are settled, except in exceptional circumstances.
- Interest will be charged on overdue amounts at 3% per annum above Barclays’ base rate.
We do not accept cash payments for school fees.

Removal of a Registered Pupil
- Written notice is required by the first day of the previous term to remove a registered pupil. Otherwise, a full term’s fees are payable in lieu of notice.
- Provisional notice must be given if an exam result will determine whether a pupil leaves.
