Last week, we took part in National Storytelling Week and we were so grateful for the incredible support from our parents in making the week such an enjoyable experience for the pupils in all classes. The children were so excited to hear the chosen story at the end of the day and it was a special experience for teachers, pupils and parents alike.
As part of our storytelling celebrations, the House Leads hosted some wonderful story time sessions with their House groups at break-times and many children had the pleasure of listening to our Avonory Stories at home, as well as the brilliant stories created and recorded by Year 6.
Year 2 fully embraced the week with the children becoming authors and writing their own Paddington story books. They especially loved drawing their own front cover for their book!
