Forest School Junior Science Competition

Posted: 13th February 2026

We are incredibly proud of our brilliant Year 6 scientists.

Pupils recently represented the school at the Forest School’s Junior Science Competition, where they took on three exciting challenges across Biology, Physics and Chemistry. From investigating scientific concepts to putting their practical skills to the test, their teamwork, creativity and determination shone through in every task.

One of the highlights of the day was building their very own working circuit burglar alarm,  a fantastic hands-on challenge that showcased their growing understanding of electrical circuits and problem-solving skills.

After a closely fought competition, we are thrilled to share that our team achieved 2nd place overall  missing out on 1st place by just one point.

What an incredible accomplishment and a testament to their hard work and enthusiasm.
