Last Friday saw the Prep’s Inter-House Cross Country competition take place at Woodford Green Cricket Club. Prep pupils had prepared for the event in PE in a range of fitness-related lessons. Despite previous downpour, the sun shone strongly for the afternoon with many parents and family members in attendance.
The circuit, that includes the Winston Churchill statue, was completed two times by Year 3 pupils, two and half times by Years 4 and 5, and three times by Year 6.
All children showed great determination and resilience to overcame both physical and mental obstacles this competition presents.
Well done to Churchill house for coming 1st overall.
