We had a lovely Mother’s Day treat last Friday and were so pleased that so many of you could join us for this special celebration. Year 1 Cranes led a wonderful Mother’s Day assembly where the children learnt about what Mother’s Day is and why we celebrate this day. They also shared their own unique reasons why they love their mum, as well as reciting and singing a Mother’s Day poem and song. The children in both Year 1 and Year 2 had learnt a special song for their mothers and made beautiful cards. These were shared at the start of our Mother’s Day tea, before everyone enjoying a delicious afternoon tea together.
