Our annual Sports Day competition was hosted on 7th June 2024 at The Woodford Wells Club. The day was a resounding success, filled with excitement, enthusiasm, and spirited competition. Pupils from all years participated in a variety of athletic events, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship, displaying their athletic abilities and teamwork to an appreciative crowd of parents and family members.
The day concluded with the hotly contested and very exciting inter-house tug of war competition. Then with medals jingling and tinkling around the necks of pupils, we settled down to listen to Mrs Campbell’s closing remarks, highlighting the importance of participation over winning. But as with all competitive House events, there can only be one winner and for accumulating the highest points across all activities during the day……..
Congratulations to Cavell House for their 2024 Sports Day win! Special thanks to the PE department for their meticulous planning and execution of the event, to our PTA for having on-site refreshments and to The Woodford Wells for hosting.
