Year 3 and 4 French Breakfast Morning

Posted: 19th November 2025

This week, Years 3 and 4 enjoyed a wonderful French Breakfast morning as part of their learning in Modern Foreign Languages. The activity room was beautifully decorated with French flag bunting and accessories, creating a festive atmosphere, while the French cafe music played softly in the background to set the scene.

The children had a fantastic opportunity to practise speaking French, greeting each other and ordering food in the language they have been learning. They also sampled a variety of typical French breakfast foods, including flaky croissants and delicious pain au chocolat.

This special event gave children a real taste of French culture, helping to bring their classroom learning to life in an enjoyable and memorable way. It was a wonderful celebration of language learning and global awareness. Merci beaucoup, Years 3 and 4!
