Arts Week

Posted: 27th February 2026

What an amazing Arts Week it’s been!

The whole school, from F1 to Year 6, have been studing the paintings of the impressionist French painter, Renoir. They have learnt all about the man himself, learnt about his painting techniques and had the chance to experiment themselves.

Year 3 to 6 went on an exciting trip to the National Gallery, where they were able to see not only impressionist art but artwork from all eras. They all took part in a ‘materials techniques and processes talk’ from the gallery where they learnt the history behind lots of art and how it was created.

Art work produced during Arts Week will be displayed in the school hall. Parents are invited to view it with their children.
