Avon House hosted the ISA London North Tag-Rugby Championships at Bancroft’s Rugby Club yesterday. The slightly grey weather didn’t dampen the spirits or enthusiasm of any of the teams from 13 schools taking part.
We took two teams with us to play; The B team reached the quarter finals, while the A team went the distance and made it to the final.
Both Avon House Preparatory School and Howe Green House School played an exciting and excellent final match.
Avon House were narrowly beaten by one try, with the game finishing 11-10! Congratulations to Howe Green House for your win!
A big thank you to Mr Thornley, Mr Biston and Mr Woods for organising and refereeing, and to the representatives from the other schools for ensuring the day went smoothly.
