Year 6 kicked off the new school year with a wave of excitement during their visit to the Lee Valley White Water Centre.
The children took to the kayaks, gliding across the sparkling waters before diving into an intense game of ‘Zombie’ that had everyone paddling for survival! The water wipeout course was another highlight, with pupils leaping, sliding and splashing their way through, while some simply enjoyed a relaxing float wearing their life vests!
The sunshine was on our side, making it the perfect day to nurture friendships, show resilience and cheer each other on. It was a fantastic way to dive back into school life after the summer break, leaving everyone smiling, soaked and full of stories to share. A day of adventure, teamwork and laughter – it is safe to say Year 6 ended the week on a high tide!
