Superpowers for our Superheroes

To begin our new termly topic with a bang, Year 2 spent the day focusing on superheroes. We continued some conversations we had on Swap Morning before the Summer break, discussing what it means to be a hero and what superpowers we all have! The children came up with lovely suggestions like super curiosity, super kindness and super perseverance. The children then had to think of a superhero name for themselves and design a logo. Donning their new superhero masks, they went to the playground to draw their logos in chalk. The children finished the day by making their very own superhero model during their art lesson. The children had lots of fun and are looking forward to learning about all types of heroes!
