Last Friday, Year 5 and Year 6 boys competed in Inter-House Football. Each house played against one another in the group stages with Churchill finishing top, Cavell – second, Morris came third and Pankhurst were fourth. The boys played competitively throughout, with all houses showing a real desire to be crowned winners. The semi-finals saw Churchill and Cavell progress onwards with close victories against Pankhurst and Morris respectively. In a nail-biting final, neither house managed to make a breakthrough despite good goal scoring opportunities for Churchill and Cavell. This resulted in the game concluding in a penalty shootout. Churchill were victorious in the shootout to be crowned Year 5 and Year 6 Inter-House Football winners.
