In the last few weeks, Year 1 have been experimenting with different apps and computer games and investigating what we need to do to make them work. We have used lightbot, Incredibox and even protected a galaxy far far away through a Star Wars game. In each of the game we had to give the sprites information to work. In Light Bot we worked out how to get to blue squares on a maze and change them to yellow… it sounds easy but it was quite tricky. In Incredibox we created our own music adding different musical loops together… it was AMAZING!!
This week for the first time we have programmed using blocks. Mr Biston was very impressed and said that we were true coding Jedi warriors!
