Youth Makes Music

On Friday 15th March, our School Choir took part in the Rotary Club of Roding Young Makes Music concert hosted by Chigwell School. This is an event we look forward to every year particularly as we are helping to raising funds for the Rotary Club of Roding Valley. We were very well supported by our parents and the children performed a Korean folk song called Arirang in 2-part harmony which then culminated in a very effective round to finish. Our second song was a version of Your Raise me Up composed by Rolf Løvland and written by Brendan Graham. The highlight of this performance was a brilliant solo by Martha who top and tailed the song. It was also a great opportunity for our children to listen to older choristers and musician as there were items in the programme performed by secondary school children.
