Our Year 1 classes were thrilled to be welcomed to climb aboard the iconic Golden Hinde by a lively and knowledgeable guide. The pupils stepped into the world of Tudor sailors, ready to explore life at sea during the age of exploration. They discovered where sailors slept, where the animals were kept, how to raise the anchor, what pirates at sea ate and how to load and fire a cannon.
Our young crew asked brilliant questions, showed fantastic curiosity, with everyone keen to try their hand at the activities on board.
