It is hard to believe that this time last week, our adventures at Stubbers was coming to an end. Despite the inclement weather and trying to sleep through thunderstorms, all returned with positive memories. Mr Manning wishes to say a particular thank you to Mrs Gleadell, Mrs Hooley and Miss Feeney and all our visitors for ensuring that the children remained safe and made the most of the opportunities the week had to offer. On Monday and Tuesday this week, pupils worked together to produce newspaper reports about the residential trip. It appeared that Archery combat, banana boats and of course Axe Throwing were the most popular of activities. For the remainder of the week, Year 6 have been looking at Volume in Maths, planning a science investigation involving circuits and beginning rehearsals for our summer performance of Wind in the Willows – where we have renamed one of the songs, “Messing about in boats” to “Messing about in paddle boats!”
