This week, the RRS Council’s latest initiative to donate bicycles to a primary school in North London came to fruition. This links with Article 31 of the UNCRC, the right to leisure, play and culture.
Bright and early, our dedicated council members gathered at the front of the school, ready to collect the donated bikes from our staff, students, and families. With energy and enthusiasm, they carefully loaded each bike onto the school minibus, preparing for the big delivery. In a magical twist, the delivery was to be made by Santa himself—though, in reality, it was none other than the ever-jolly Mr. Fredrick, stepping in to help us!
This thoughtful effort not only brought smiles to the faces of the recipients, but also showcased the incredible spirit of giving that thrives within our school community.
