Wednesday saw Sustainability Council set off early for West London for a spectacular day out at Earl’s Court and the Natural History Museum. The BBC Earth Experience at Earl’s Court saw the Council members experience the beauty and power of the natural world across the 7 continents. Enormous 360° digital screens gave the children an immersive experience of the wonders our fragile planet has to offer. In addition, there was an interactive underwater animation, a creepy crawly section and a flight deck which gave a bird’s eye view of different habitats.

Just two stops along the District Line, the Council also visited the world-famous international Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition at the Natural History Museum. On display were the top 100 photographs showing spectacular moments in nature, along with hard hitting images of how humans have acted irresponsibly with nature.

The Council got to register their votes for the best photo to finish an amazing day out enjoying the natural world.
