To round off a busy year, the Sustainability Council visited the BBC Earth Experience at Earl’s Court on Tuesday. The very best clips of David Attenborough’s Blue Planet series were brought to life on 20 metre high 360’ screens. We crawled with Sea Lions, swam with Blue Whales, hunted with Pumas and waddled with Penguins before soaring with Eagles over the Rocky Mountains. We then visited the Insect Zone where we were surrounded by Spiders, Snails, Snakes, and Ants the size of cars. The whole visit was an amazing experience where the wonders of our beautiful planet were presented to us. After lunch we were given an educational talk by the Daikin Manager on how we can cut our carbon footprint and live more sustainably to protect our planet.
